Director and Producer

Umesh Mehra is an Indian film director and producer of Bollywood. He was prominent in the 1980s and 1990s. His notable films include Hamare Tumhare, Alibaba Aur 40 Chor, Sohni Mahiwal ,Vardi , Ashanti, Jaal, Mujrim ,Guru ,Yaar Gaddar Sabse Bada Khiladi, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, International Khiladi and any more. In 1998 he directed the veteran actor Dilip Kumar in Qila which was Kumar's last film. Mehra's last film as director was 2002's Yeh Mohabbat Hai.

 

About Rekha:-

It's a long bond with Rekha. First time I directed her in Jaal 1986, then in Khildiyon Ka Khiladi (1996) and and last in Qila (1998) with Dilip Sahab.

We had a nice understanding with each other. She is stunning as always. She enjoyed her role and did it well. She is full of Glamour as well as simple according to the film. She is so comfortable woking with me.
